37 wellness gifts I’d actually buy (I own or reviewed every one)

My 2026 wellness gift guide went live yesterday and I held it to one rule: nothing goes in unless I’ve reviewed it or own it. That came to 37 picks...there are more of course, but these are my favorites and the ones I consider most "giftable" ...the ones I'd actually be thrilled to receive myself.

A lot of these links are affiliate links, which means I get a small commission. As always, I only partner with brands I love...you wouldn't believe the things I see in my inbox from brands I would never recommend!

My affiliate partners are the way my small business makes money for publishing free content. I get to write about what I'm passionate about and you often save money, never paying more for using my link.

I'm always up front about that and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting Heal Nourish Grow in this way. The online business world is changing so much with AI but I appreciate the trust you show in my editorial integrity with every single click you still give me.

The gift picks are sorted the way people actually shop: sleep, trackers, recovery, health testing, self-care, kitchen, food, grilling and travel. Every pick has my rating and the current price and there’s a list by price right at the top if you’re shopping to a budget. And if for some reason Amazon is your preferred source, please start with my Amazon storefront.

There are two sections I’m especially glad I wrote. One is for perimenopause/menopause, built around the three things I hear about most: sleep that falls apart, recovery and holding on to muscle. The other is “What to Get a Woman Who Has Everything,” for that "one" person on every list (we all have one.)

Three with good deals right now

A lot of brands started Black Friday early this year. These are the three I’d point a friend to first.

Chilipad 2.0 (my rating: 4.6). If night sweats are wrecking her sleep, this is truly the ultimate gift. It’s a water-cooled/heated pad that goes on top of the mattress and each side of the bed can run its own temperature. So if you happen to be her partner that's gifting, you get a little bonus gift too! I reviewed a dual zone king and it’s quieter and cools down faster than the Dock Pro I had before. Right now it starts at $1,399 ($200 off) with a 3-year protection plan included, and holiday returns run through January 25. See the Chilipad deal

Hume Pod 2.0 (4.6). If keeping muscle is the goal, it helps to know whether you’re actually keeping it and a regular scale can’t tell you that. When you first start strength training, it's common to see the scale go up, which can be stressful if you don't know whether it's muscle or fat. This body composition scale can show you the trend. It’s $249 right now (list is $384), and my code HEALNOURISHGROW takes another 20% off, which brings it to about $199. See the Hume Pod

Sunlighten mPulse Conquer infrared sauna (4.8). This is the splurge, and it’s one of my two highest-rated picks in the whole guide. We ended up investing in it after my husband's heart surgery and it's been something the whole family has enjoyed. I did a ton of research before settling on this one...I do that a lot before any larger purchase! Both of our sons play sports and have loved it for recovery. We've had it since December 2023 and I paid for it myself, so nobody handed me this opinion (I partnered with them due to loving the product). Sunlighten has up to $2,500 off plus free shipping through November 8. Pricing is by quote, so you’ll talk with a consultant before you get your number. See the Sunlighten offer or mention Heal Nourish Grow for the best price when you call them.

Shopping for a cook? The Wonder Oven Pro is $275 in Our Place’s Black Friday sale and Caraway is up to 25% off sitewide. Both are in the kitchen section of the guide.

Want my Black Friday deals as they land?

Partners are already sending me holiday offers on things I own, have reviewed and use and I’d rather pass them along than sit on them until one big email. Tap the button and you’re on the list, no form to fill in. If you don't tap, no extra emails.

I’ll send the good ones as they come in. Some days there won’t be anything worth sending and during busy times you might hear from me daily. These emails stop December 15 and every one has a link to stop just the deal emails without leaving this newsletter.

Hit reply and tell me who’s the hardest person on your list this year. I’ll tell you what I’d get them from the guide (or any other thoughts I have on what might make a good gift). I read every reply and I always write back.

Have a great weekend,

Sincerely,
Cheryl McColgan
Founder, Heal Nourish Grow

P.S. If recovery gear is more her speed, FIT KING’s code BF30 takes 30% off sitewide through November 15, including the cordless compression boots I rated 4.5 in the guide, they have other options at a variety of price points. (FIT KING is a paid partner.) See the boots

From 2017 until about July of 2024, I ate strict keto. Not keto-ish. Not "low carb on weekdays." Strict, tracked, in-ketosis keto, for the better part of a decade. So when someone asks me whether keto is still worth it, I'm not answering from the sidelines. Here's the honest version of what changed, what the research looks like now and where I've landed. What changed for me It wasn't some dramatic breakup, it was serious strength training. When I started training more and preparing to...
